The second Partner Meeting of the  Connectivity Strategic Project took place in Bari, at the Puglia Region Mobility Department with the participation of all partner organizations coming from Molise Region (Italy), Albania, and Montenegro

In particular, the technical experts from the Puglia Region and Asset Puglia presented the framework for placing the project results. They also defined an action plan in preparation for the upcoming Focus Groups among the technicians of the different partners, with the aim of drafting the Guidelines and Recommendations Document.

A key moment of the meeting was the announcement of a formal collaboration between ANAS SpA (Gruppo Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane) and the Puglia Region – Mobility Department.

The collaboration aims to develop the Technical and Economic Feasibility Project for upgrading a section of road between Mola di Bari and Fasano, two municipalities in Puglia with a strong tourism vocation. The project involves the construction of a dynamic lane on both carriageways, in line with the general development objectives of the Puglia Region and the Implementation Plan of the Regional Transport Plan 2021–2030.

The initiative is consistent with the Puglia Region’s development goals and the Regional Transport Plan Implementation Plan 2021–2030.

The signed agreement will remain in effect until the completion of the operation, scheduled for December 31, 2027.
